The Osram P2/35 1000W 230V R7s is a double-ended halogen bulb with an average lifespan of 150 hours.  This type of bulb is typically used in portable open face luminaries during video and photo shoots.  The 64572 P2/35 1000W 230V R7s has a significantly higher lumen output (30% more) than the popular 800 Watt DXX bulb due to its slightly longer length.
